2018 NBA PLAYOFFS

Once again, this NBA Season was must watch TV from start to finish. REAL TALK!
Uncontrollable injuries and sudden surprising trades from East to West shifted the balance from good to bad depending on whom you’ve been rocking with from the jump. Whichever way you want to look at it two new faces from East to West claimed “Top Spot” at the end of this Season.

This year Eastern Conference No. 1 Seed is none other than our own Canadian Team The Toronto Raptors that finished the season with an impressive (59-23). This year The Raptors played with a different type of swag and competitive demeanor that wreaked havoc throughout the entire league. Them Boys are seriously aiming for that spot in the Finals to show the world what the North is all about. Real Talk.

The journey to the Finals won’t be a cakewalk judging by some of the new and old faces attempting to derail The Raptors on their quest. The bang-up Celtics, the young gunners of The 76ers, The Cavs and King James, The Pacers, The Heat, The Bucks and the 8th seeded Wizards all have a say in to how this Eastern Conference might play out.

Representing the Western Conference and the No. 1 Seed throughout the entire Playoffs is none other than The Houston Rockets with their imposing season of (65-17). Them Boys strait up snatched that No. 1 Spot from the Defending Champions Golden State Warriors (58-24). This year might just be theirs for the taking but judging how the West likes to roll I wouldn’t count the Defending Champs out just yet. The Warriors are walking into this year NBA Playoffs wounded but not ready to concede just yet. The Blazers, The Thunder, The Jazz, The Pelicans, The Spurs and the 8th seeded Timberwolves are all aiming to disrupt this year NBA Playoffs.

With this entire changeable outcome, I can’t wait to see that ball drop Saturday April 14, 2018 come Game Time!!

Tune In!!

This NBA season has been nothing short from exciting, record braking, surprising and unbelievable type season with again much more still to come in the Playoffs. REAL TALK! This years’ “King Of The Court” for the season are The Golden State Warriors who won a franchise-record and league-best 67 games. REAL TALK!

From the jump of the season these groups of guys stayed focus and on track to be in this position. The Warriors rank 2nd in Offence rating and 1st on the Defensive side. Nuff said!

Owning that No. 1 Spot on the Westside is not an easy task cause any team from 2-8 competing in the West is capable of upsetting any team at any given time. Think about it for a second?? The Defending Champs of last years NBA finals The Spurs are coming in this year Playoffs at the No. 6th Spot, unreal but true when it comes to the Westside’s level of competition. REAL TALK!

Now when it comes to the Eastside, if there was ever to be a Cinderella team in the NBA this season The Atlanta Hawks would definitely fit the “Bill” The Hawks Started the season from the bottom and rose all the way to the top in a convincing manner. With their record of 60-22 The Hawks have unquestionably tilted the power shift on the Eastside.

This Coast may not be has competitive has the Westside on paper but truth be told Cleveland, Chicago, Washington and our own team from up North the Toronto Raptors, have acquired enough Playoffs experience within the years to bring it to any team ready to battle throw-out the series to come.

Now tune in this Saturday April 18, 2015 for the Playoffs first round of who’s got next!

On The Watch “It’s All About The NBA-Who’s On Top”

The NBA-Who’s On Top?

We are officially passed the midpoint mark for the season with over 42 games played and still representing the EAST with their No. 1 Defensive team in the league, we have the Indiana Pacers leading in the far front with a team first mentality that’s been working wonders for them so far. The Pacers are clearly focus and determine to hold on to that No. 1 seed come playoff time. Their game is tight and their team well balanced with a discipline worthy of an NBA’s Finals showing.

Hopping to stunt their drive is The Defending Champs The Miami Heat. The “CROWN” still belongs to them even if they do look wounded at times; they still have the time and the experience to turn things around come playoff time. As for the remaining Eastern teams still gunning for a spot in the playoffs, 3 to 8 have yet to be concrete. Expect a dogfight for those spots to be filled.

Now for the Wild Wild West, it’s a whole different story. The West is deep and loaded and the competition is fierce. Sitting atop this time around are the Oklahoma City Thunder with them being the Top Defensive Team to beat, however with the WEST being so competitive holding on to the No. 1 spot is a challenged within itself.

The Spurs as usual have worked their way back to the top as the second seed but with many injuries to key players, I’m just not sure if they will hold on to that spot for very long. The Portland Trail Blazers have played like true contenders throughout the first half of the season so expect them to keep hovering around the 1 to 3 spot for the remaining of the season. Now for the remaining playoff spots between 4 and 8, expect the unexpected cause any one of these teams gunning it out can move up the food chain in no time.

Keep your eyes and ears tuned in cause the spotlight is on high for the remaining part of the NBA season. REAL TALK!
